IF WE MUST DIE | Claude McKay

 

If We Must Die is a poem written by Claude Mckay in 1919. It was a response to the attacks on African American communities by mobs of white Americans. Claude Mckay was a Jamaican writer and a significant figure of the Harlem Renaissance.
